Autoneum partners with TWC to increase workplace violence awareness
TWC educated over 150 employees on workplace violence
For the second year, Autoneum (formerly Rieter) invited The Women's Center (TWC) to attend their employee wellness fair and offer information on workplace violence. Staff learned about TWC services, domestic and sexual violence, workplace bullying and social media violence. TWC applauds the Wellness Committee's dedication to increasing staff awareness of workplace violence.

Montour County partners with TWC to offer workplace violence training
Over eighty Montour County employees participated in TWC's "Building a Safe Workplace, Preventing Workplace Violence" training program. Staff learned to recognize, respond and report violence in their workplace. Holly Brandon, Chief Clerk at the Montour County Courthouse, reported receiving lots of positive comments from employees who participated in the training sessions. We tip our hat to Montour County for supporting victims of workplace violence and keeping their employees safe. Keep up the good work! An Award Winning Employer!
Geisinger partners with TWC to increase bullying awareness among staff
Most recently, TWC was invited to present our Workplace Bullying program to the perioperative staff. Our program helped staff by increasing their awareness and empowering staff with options and resources.
Our Workplace Bullying program was also a part of the 2013 GMC Occupational Health Nurse annual conference and the 2012-2013 quarterly charge nurse training. TWC has trained over 175 GMC healthcare professionals on the issues of workplace bullying this year. Thank you nurse educators and managers for your commitment to increase awareness on the issues of violence in your workplace. Outstanding! An Award Winning Employer!

Host an Awareness Day. Invite The Women's Center to your workplace to display information on domestic and sexual violence. Make resources available during lunch and employee breaks or at wellness events such as health fairs.
Schedule a Presentation. Presentations are available at your workplace and offered at no costs to employers in Columbia and Montour counties.
